We are pleased to announce the completed installation of our new Bruker Tensor II FTIR system with Hyperion 2000 microscope! This new system provides all of the same analysis options that SSW has offered to you over the years, as well as some exciting new capabilities.
We have purchased a new Platinum ATR® accessory equipped with a 2mm x 2mm diamond crystal. The diamond crystal works especially well for hard grain powders and hard polymers. This accessory is fast, very easy to use and a welcome addition to our instrumentation.
Another addition to the FTIR system is imaging and mapping capabilities (see below). This option allows for imaging, line scans and mapping of your sample surface.
