Important Sample Submission Details: Please do not submit samples directly in plastic bags. Slip agents used on the inside of plastic bags can transfer to the sample surface and may affect test results. Please contact one of our Research Scientists or sswinfo@uwo.ca if you have questions regarding sample submission. To minimize contamination, always handle samples carefully and, whenever possible, keep them free of fingerprints, oils, and other surface contaminants.

    The actual times, techniques, and costs may vary, and additional work may be required. After receiving the sample(s), the assigned research scientist may select analytical methods that are better suited—even if those methods differ from what is on the Analysis Request Form. If charges exceed the quoted amount, SSW will seek prior approval. Some techniques are destructive, and samples may need modification for analysis.
